COMEDY NIGHT AT THE ARDEN THEATRE 19 APRIL

American TV star Al Lubel comes to Faversham as part of a top quality Comedy double bill.

Lubel is a “terrifically funny comedian” according to David Letterman, and Jerry Seinfeld has also praised his work, stating that one of his jokes is the best he has ever heard. And there’s plenty more where that came from.

Lubel has performed on the Late Show with Letterman five times and earned earned lavish praise from Jerry Seinfeld.

Tickets available now from sweetscene and online from
www.wegottickets.com/no5club.

Lubel started off as a lawyer (to please his mum) and became a comedian to please himself (which did not please his mum). After graduating from law school in Florida, Al moved to Los Angeles, passed the California Bar Exam but chose to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian rather than a lawyer.

After quitting law, within a year he won the $100,000 Grand Prize for comedy on Star Search. Doing the The Tonight Show was a childhood fantasy, so when Al heard that Johnny Carson was retiring, he auditioned and became one of the last comics to appear with Carson.

He is joined by Frank Sanazi, The Ubermeister of Comedy and the leader of the Iraq Pack which consists of Dean Stalin, Saddami Davis Jnr & Osama Bin Crosby, or as they are collectively known, the ‘four Singers of the Apocalypse.’

Frank’s extreme renditions like ‘Strangers On My Flight’, ‘Third Reich’ & ‘Big Bad Chairmen Mao’ are still being lapped up by fans the world over.

ARDEN SOCIAL EVENING

Members and friends of the Arden gathered for a social evening with a party twist on Saturday 22nd March.
Brian Booth's work-in-progress Murder Mystery proved to be good fun and very well received.
We hope to repeat this exercise many times in the future as it is obviously a popular event!
